20 year old Champion model Jim Johnson was a native Floridian photographed under the Sunshine Beach Club division & at the club in 1965. This knock-out athlete's vital stats are: height: 5'6", weight: 146lbs., neck: 15.5", shoulders: 20", chest: 37.5" expanding to 41.5", bicep: 4", forearm: 11", wrist: 7", hips: 34", length of leg: 28", thigh: 20", ankle: 10.5". Unfortunately Champ didn't make note of the size of his beautiful feet or his tool.

Jim, not surprizingly, was a Golden Gloves boxer. He was into football and weight lifting. He really enjoyed posing & hoped to do more. What's interesting, besides the fact that he's "drop dead" beautiful,  is how Champ met him. Walking down the street in Tampa Jim literally fell out of a tree to the sidewalkin front of Champ! Jim's occupation at the time was as a tree surpeon. Champ helped him up & in the course of getting help for his broken arm they talked.  When he heard Champ had a nudist colony association, did body worship pix & was interested in photographing him Jim got all excited. A fantasy of his was going to come true. Guys develop their bodies to show them off. It was 6 months before

jim's arm healed & he felt he was in top shape to pose. He & Champ had kept in touch & a photo session was set up at the S.B.C. that resulted in many fantastic shots. During a two week visit to YC Jim posed indoors for some pix & was dazzled by, what was then but sure ain't now, a truely magical place.

Tall John was one of the legendary models in the late 60s/early 70s, for obvious reasons. His names derives from the fact that he was 6'4". He had a matching 11" penis. He was 20 at the time and weighted in at 170 lbs. with dirty blond hair and brown/hazel eyes. He's of Scandinavian/German stock and had reciently come out, moving from Arizona to NYC. He was related to some big shot who had a hissy fit when he saw some of John's pix (I guess his folks didn't give him the big birthday present John's folks did.) There aren't a vast amount of pix, mags & loops of Tall John so I guess hissy succeeded. He did become a legend & still has fans who light up at the mention of his name.

In addition to the work Champion did when he moved to NYC, John worked with a few photographers when he went to California. He did a loop with another Champion discovery Peter Allen Marx (who became famous for a solo loop he did for Falcon as "Allen"). He was the main model in the magazine "HUSTLER 2: a story in photo of a young man's search for himself". Very dramatic title for socially redeaming value. John came up with the idea, now common, of making a mold of his erect penis & selling dildoes. He was even able to talk a number of the celebrities he tricked with into letting him make molds of their talent also. Talk about collector's items!

Dana Sumers is a Champion star from the Sunshine Beach Club division. The name comes from the nudist colony in Florida body builder/photographer Dick Falcon started. Champion invested in the club & photographed many models there including Darryl Powers, Chip, Mark Sterling & Hawkeye.

Dana was from the south and a couple moth's shy of his 19th birthday. He & Champ hit it right off and several photo sessions were done over a period of time. Dana was one of the few models to do full erection pix. A natural model, Dana was of Scotch-Irish stock, stood 5'7", 140 lbs. & had a 6" penis.

He had his sights set on acting but not seriously enough to work at it. He was a patient, interesting guy who loved the outdoors. He was into crabbing, hiking, fishing, camping and making plastic models (Remember those days? I made loads myself.) Dana was also openly Gay and proud before the event of the Stonewall riots.
